hello!
welcome to my portfolio website. my name is rian, i am a software developer and i have been coding since the age of 15 (5/6 years ago)
i thought instead of a making a big fancy portfolio, i would make a basic and plain site so you can get to know who i am, what i enjoy and most of all what i do.
what do i enjoy doing apart from work? funnily enough i enjoy gardening, and i also enjoy working on cars. i love making food, and even more i love eating food. i enjoy spending time with my gf, family and friends.
who am i? as you already know im a blockchain developer,i build, test and deploy smart contracts and build the dapps to go with them. i also enjoy working with laravel, wordpress and even sometimes just html css and js (the ol bread and butter)
i was born in hudderfield but both of my parents are scottish! i like cars, food, the outdoors (how original) i like being in the sun until i get burnt. i have 2 brothers and a sister and im an uncle! i have a wonderful niece called may and she is adorable.
i specialize working with solidity, javascript and some JS frameworks/libraries (react, next, ethers) laravel and some more, im passionate about working on the blockchain, it intrigues me how we can work with currencies, data, and decentralized systems in ways that were never possible before, like flashloans still blow my mind.
its exciting to be apart of this space as it progresses, i really enjoy working the evm blockchain, building dapps, exploring layer2s, the endless projects to be built and the thing is, i havent gotten sick of it not even once when with other projects/languages i have!
anyways the key thing is that im passionate about what i do, im hard working and i would say im talented, i work great in a team, and im never afraid to acknoledge when im wrong.
